Even though it occasionally embarrasses me to confess this, I think of myself as a large-footed girl. I have treaded along on these massive feet since I was thirteen and have heard all of the common jokes about it. Folks may think that jokes about large feet are pretty darned funny but attempting to find a decent pair of large shoes is no giggling matter.

I have got an extremely tricky time finding shoes that fit and attempting to find two lovable big shoes is virtually impossible.

I’m needed to wear business shoes at work each day and I should accept what I can find at local shoe stores. I am generally only capable of finding shoes sized 10 or below and I have forced my size eleven feet into size 10 shoes more times than I care to recollect. I have looked around for a shoe stretcher to turn my tiny shoes into giant shoes but I’ve only seen the kind I want online. I’m not a huge fan of shopping online and can’t bring myself to reserve a stretcher this way.

Having large feet and not having the ability to find large shoes is a genuine problem for plenty of ladies. At a local Dick’s store I was giggled at by a salesman and I quickly learned the way in which the store got its name.

If you’re stuck in the same ship I am no joke intended, don’t give up. There are large shoes out there, just few. I have resorted to wearing men’s shoes in many cases and have not had an issue doing so. This, naturally, only truly works for running shoes and such like. When it comes to dress shoes, you are in for more of a journey there.
